First vice-president Trina Holman (standing) led a brief business meeting after the last conference session. The group voted to participate in honoring the Arkansas High School Press Association's 75th anniversary, to confirm a June 26 date for the 2004 awards luncheon at St. John Center in Little Rock, to survey needs and interests of current and former members and to judge contest entries for the Kansas Professional Communicators if requested. Many ideas were brought out during the meeting for recruiting and serving new members.
