Several exercises during the cultural
perceptions session aimed at recognizing when preconceptions
color our judgement of people, even about something as basic to
everyone as birth order. For example, everyone "knows"
that last-born children in a family (like Ouida Cox, Debbie
Miller and Teresa Newton, standing here) are coddled pleasers
with strong social skills, right? They and other last-borns are
applauded by first-and-middle-borns Bettina Lehovec (foreground
